Our campground has a really unique history. The Bay Side, on Bass Lake, opened in 1938! A quaint campground with cabins and RV spots for 23, along with the manager house/store, with views of Bass Lake and a grassy beach. The Woods Side was added in 2020 to make room for more to enjoy all that the Spooner area has to offer, including the best ATV trails ever! These sites have full hookup with electricity/water/sewer and a new bath house. The two sides are directly across County Highway E from one another, where the ATV’s sometimes outnumber cars 10 to 1. Nestled in the woods, the sites in the Woods Side are still quiet and provide a true “Up North” adventure.
Lots! At Anchor Bay, for campers on either side, full lake access via the beach for kayak, boat and pontoon boat rentals ($). The ATV’ing is amazing from Anchor Woods and we are right on the ATV route with over 20,000 acres of county forest almost adjacent to the campground. With a camp store/hangout (New in 2025!) and games, a seasonal weekend outdoor bar, playground, bags and horseshoes, we think you will find something to do. Ask Mike or Tammy for area recommendations!
Well, there are still TONS of things to do in the area. If you are only a fair weather camper, check out the weather guarantee during the checkout process.
